This is an excellent book. Written primarily for students but suitable for any Christian it is an accessible guide to postmodernism.

Part I considers the basic premises and tells us what Foucault, Derrida, Benjamin, Butler and Baudrilliard say, in an analysis of their seminal writings. It takes little for granted and gives us the phonetic spellings of their names as well. It discusses them round the basis of case studies founded on real situations. Part II deals with the practicalities of how postmodernism affects our culture, worship, Bible study and work. There is a helpful bibliography. The book is based on much practical work among today's students and has been honed in many seminars.
