This book is written in the firm conviction that all Scripture speaks of Christ. Mr. Fortner's approach to the book of Genesis is, therefore, to seek to find types of Christ, and his work of salvation, in the different stories that are recorded in the book.
The book is not, and does not claim to be, a full commentary on Genesis, but rather a book to help the reader to appreciate more fully the wonder of the work of Christ, as illustrated by stories from the book of Genesis.
