WHERE WAS GOD ON SEPTEMBER 11?
By John Blanchard
Evangelical Press. 31 pages. £9.95 for ten copies
ISBN 0 85234 508 9

The attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York and on the Pentagon last September by Islamic extremists shook the world. We are still coming to terms with the implications.

In this booklet, evangelist John Blanchard takes these events and uses them to address the age-old question of the problem of evil. Very neatly, he argues that for all their pretended moral outrage, such events should not raise any problems for atheists. It is only as God is there to give an absolute moral framework, that outrage at such acts makes any sense.
