FOOTNOTES
By Lena Maria Klingvall (translated by Ulla Fewster)
Monarch Books. 127 pages.
ISBN 1 85424 504 X

This is the first English edition of a bestseller in five languages.

It is a cheerful autobiography of a talented Swedish woman, a swimmer, a European four times gold medallist. A remarkable achievement for anyone - let alone someone who was born without arms and only one full leg. Lena attributes her happy, positive outlook on life to her faith in God. Probably the most challenging part of the book are her observations on Psalm 139: 'I also believe that to him it is not my looks and my shape that are the most important. The most important thing of all is my relationship with him.'
