It seems only yesterday that I read through a book entitled The Grace of God in the Gospel. In fact it was 25 years ago. As a student at university I was highly impressed that some OICCU members should write such a book, and even more amazed that the Banner of Truth should be so contemporary as to publish it. Yet here I am, all these years later, warmly commending to you the revision of this book written by one of the original authors.

This is a compact overview of reformed teaching about the gospel. Nothing new, no frills, no apologies, no anecdotes - just meaty Biblical food. Here is the ideal introduction to reformed teaching for thinking young people and students. At the end of each of the first five core chapters the author deals with questions and objections that are often posed and from chapter six there follows three chapters of application and a sensibly sized bibliography for those who might wish to read more fully.
