The author is a young woman whose zeal for God and adventure led her to Africa for a short term of church ministry.
The book is a racy narrative of her many experiences prior to and during her visit. It captures her spirit of excitement, simple trust, and genuine desire to witness for Christ. The aim of the book is not clear and is probably obscured by the strong presence of its author. The rather immature interpretation of her experiences does not fit into orthodox thinking on mission, though it will appeal to many who like their Christianity to be sensational.
