Territorial Spirits and World Evangelisation?
A biblical, historical and missiological critique of Strategic-Level Spiritual Warfare
By Chuck Lowe. Christian Focus Publications/OMF. 191 pages.
ISBN 1 857 92 399 5

At last, something very close to a comprehensive critique of the 'Territorial Spirits' theory has been written! The author has served with OMF at Singapore Bible College since 1984, where he teaches New Testament interpretation, theology and preaching, and has been an OMF theological researcher since 1995.

Lowe shows clearly that theory of Strategic-Level Spiritual Warfare (SLSW), articulated most persuasively by Peter Wagner, is part of a trend which reduces the entire spiritual life to little more than techniques and methodology. Whereas the Church Growth movement attempted this within a mechanistic 'modernity', SLSW attempts this within a 'spiritistic post-modernity'.
