Cathy, a rebellious teenagers from a dysfunctional family, finds and responds to the love of Christ amid a life of alcohol, drugs and sex. She served the Lord as a nurse, with Worldwide Evangelisation Crusade, and has since worked with Vietnamese boat people in Malaysia, refugees in Sri Lanka and the casualties of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia.

Cathy has known both rejection and abuse, both within her family and also during her missionary service in Sri Lanka. This book is the story of how her years of service in South East Asia helped her to come to terms with, and to forgive, those who mistreated her. Alongside the story of Cathy learning how to forgive in the direst of circumstances, runs another thread - the discernment of guidance.
