If you are a writer and you want your book to be read today then it is not a bad idea to include 'post-modern' or 'pagan' in the title. It comes as something of a surprise, then, to discover that this book was first published 20 years ago.
The new edition is revised and updated but preserves the same message which Prior himself says is 'even more relevant now than when it first appeared.' I wholeheartedly concur.
