Peter Dray leaves role with UCCF

Peter Dray

The Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship (UCCF) has announced that Peter Dray will leave his role as Director of Creative Evangelism in early September, after working with them for over 20 years.

Initially a Staff Worker and then Team Leader in North-East England, Dray has supervised 24 Relay Workers and over 20 Staff Workers, and also briefly served as Interim Executive Director in December 2022. He also played a crucial role in keeping several Christian Unions (CUs) afloat during the pandemic.

Simon Day, UCCF’s Chair of Trustees told the UCCF website: ‘I, and the whole Trust Board, are hugely grateful to Pete for everything he has done in providing leadership and stability to the Fellowship in this season. Much more than that, we are thankful for his passionate love for students and desire to see them turn to the Lord Jesus. The fruit of that love is clear to see in many areas, but most obviously in the vitality of CUs he has worked with and in the ministry of the many Staff and Relay Workers he has invested in.’
