Daniel Anjorin, the 14-year-old killed in the early hours of 30 April by a man wielding a sword, was born again and baptised at Jubilee Church, a New Frontiers church in London.
Daniel’s parents have been active members of Jubilee Church for more than 15 years. At the Sunday service following the murder, Pastor Tope Koleoso paid tribute to Daniel: ‘The horrific and shocking incident that led to [Daniel’s] untimely death was tragic and unimaginable … As a church, whatever touches them [the family] touches us all. We have been supporting them spiritually, emotionally [and] practically.’
