‘Homophobes’ suspended
A London primary school has been accused of mistreating two children who were suspended in June for allegedly making homophobic comments.
Ten-year-olds Kaysey Francis-Austin and Farrell Spence were excluded for five days from Heavers Farm Primary School in South London. The comments were allegedly overheard during an RE lesson in which the pupils were discussing their participation in a LGBT Pride march the school had organised. Both pupils deny the claims.
