Bible in the Dales
The May Bank Holiday saw many people
come along for the third annual ‘Bible in
the Dales’ event, held at Netherside Hall,
Yorkshire.
A large marquee is erected on the lawn of
the Hall, in which three days of Bible teaching and outreach takes place. It is a great
weekend of celebrating all that God has done
and gives an opportunity to say thank you to
the many churches and individuals who pray
for and support the ministry of Yorkshire
Camps.
Bible in the Dales
‘Bible in the Dales’ ran for the first time over
early May Bank Holiday at Netherside Hall.
Run by Yorkshire Camps, this new venture
aimed to bring Bible teaching to the rural
communities of the Dales, as well as the
nearby towns and cities.
Yorkshire New Year
How can teenage Christians be supported at New Year? Pressure from the media and peers encourages many of them to just ‘go along with the crowd’.
Yorkshire’s answer was a special New Year camp on the outskirts of Leeds. 22 teenagers, ten leaders and three days of great fun organised by newly formed ‘Yorkshire Camps’ which had two aims: to give the teens a great time and to help them keep walking with Jesus.
