The story of a well-respected urologist expelled from a Boston hospital in 2015 because he voiced concerns about the unhealthy nature of homosexual acts and objected to the hospital’s aggressive promotion of ‘gay pride’ is still subject to a news blackout in Boston despite being widely broadcast on many news networks.

Dr Church expressed concerns about his hospital supporting gay events as it contradicted their aim of promoting good health. He often cited the many medical problems suffered by men who have sex with men. He also expressed a religious and moral objection to the promotion of gay lifestyles. After many years of his emails being ignored, it appears the more direct language he used provoked the response which led to him coming before a disciplinary panel and being expelled from the hospital. At no point has anyone at the hospital taken issue with the medical complications he listed which arise from male gay sex.
