The Christian Hymns Committee and the Evangelical Movement of Wales launched an app version of the Christian Hymns hymnbook for Android and Apple devices at the Aberystwyth Conference (8-15 August 2015).

The basic app is free to download from the Google Play and Apple iTunes stores. It contains all material that is not copyrighted. The copyrighted material is available as an ‘in app’ purchase for £4.99. Because of copyright and licensing issues, the app is only available in the UK.

When Mark Zuckerberg was named person of the year for 2010 by Time magazine, it reflected the impact that Facebook is having on our society.

As a 19-year-old sophomore at Harvard, Zuckerberg started a web service that was billed as ‘an online directory that connects people through social networks at colleges’. The idea was to reflect the kinds of interactions students may have with one another. In 2010, one out of every dozen people on the planet had a Facebook account.
