Minority support for ad.
The Christian Institute
In mid-November,
the Court of Appeal
upheld a ban on a Christian radio station
broadcasting an ad. on Christian marginal-isation, a decision described as an ‘attack on
freedom of speech’ by the station’s CEO.
Two of the three judges who heard the case
ruled against the radio station, but one —
Lord Justice Elias — said the broadcaster
should have won. He said the advert is lawful because it was not politically biased.
