In October, over 100 people interested in technology use for God’s kingdom, gathered in London for Kingdom Code: BUILD.

Awards were given by Christianity Explored Ministries and Christians Against Poverty. One went to Value Navigator, a BuzzFeed-style quiz finding out what people value, which then helps them understand these themes in terms of how God created us.

Over the weekend of Friday 19 – Saturday 20 October, 120 participants from across the UK and beyond gathered at St John’s, Hoxton, to build technology for God’s glory, at Kingdom Code: BUILD.

This year’s event, now in its fourth year, partnered with Bible Society and Stewardship. 23 projects were explored, tackling the challenges of how to use technology to increase engagement with the Bible and to encourage people in their generosity.

On Saturday 16 June, All Souls Langham Place hosted the Morphe Arts Group one-day conference, to explore the topic of Why Beauty Matters in the context of how faith relates to creativity.

It was a brilliant day, full of interesting discussions and a great opportunity to build community. The speakers imparted many helpful insights, some of which are quoted or slightly paraphrased below.

Over the weekend of 20-22 October 2017, more than 90 people gathered at Innovation Warehouse in London.

They were there for Kingdom Code: BUILD, to work on projects using technology to expand God’s kingdom. Now in its third year, this Christian Hackathon, previously known as Code for the Kingdom, maintains the same qualities that originally made it special. There’s a wonderful sense of creativity and collaboration, and everyone (whether they’re a computer programmer or not) is encouraged that they have a part to play.
