Blythswood Care

Blythswood Care is undertaking a change in leadership with Jeremy Ross taking over from James Campbell as chief executive of the Highlands-based charity.

James Campbell served in this role for over 25 years, during which time the organisation developed a stronger commercial footing in Scotland and in Northern Ireland, while building on its links with evangelicals in Eastern Europe to develop educational and community projects.

Blythswood Care

Christian charity Blythswood Care marked its 50th anniversary with a service of thanksgiving held in Inverness on 5 February.

The Blythswood Tract Society was started by the late John Walter (Jackie) Ross, to reach the unchurched with the gospel. Following the collapse of communism in Europe in 1990, Blythswood delivered aid to Romania and other countries, becoming Blythswood Care in 1993.
