Perfectionism: kryptonite for supermums
Bev Berrus discusses the importance of discipleship in the busy season of motherhood
‘Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.’ My husband often says this. Usually he’s referring to a perfectionism that says unless things are ‘just so’ or the exact idea I pictured in my head, I’d rather nothing at all. It’s a perfect/all-or-nothing mindset that, if unchecked, can keep even those who belong to Christ from simply obeying Him.
