The feminisation of the ministry
The Church of England ordained more women than men in the past year. The church reported a total of 423 ordinations last year, 213 women and 210 men.
The statistics seem insignificant —after all, new women priests outnumbered new men by just three. The really significant fact is that women outnumbered men as new priests for the first time. It will not be the last.
The Bible is 'hate speech'?
It's all over but the funeral. Free speech and religious liberty are now effectively dead in Canada.
These developments should awaken all Christians in the West to the peril of political correctness and its restrictions on freedom.
Mary, quite contrary
The debate still rages on moves to effectively deify the virgin Mary.
The issue of Mary remains one of the hottest debates on the Protestant/Roman Catholic divide, and new proposals for Marian doctrines are likely to ignite a theological conflagration. At stake is not only the biblical understanding of Mary, but the integrity of the work of Christ.
