Can faith be more ‘creative’?

What comes to mind when you hear the words ‘creative faith’? Does it sound like a worrying progressive trend? Perhaps it just conjures up images of naff banners, flags, ribbons and awkward dancing in church which is best left in the 1980s.

But come with me and look at the words of the Bible, along with helpful words of other saints, and you’ll see that creativity is an essential part of what it means to be human – and using it can enrich and expand our spiritual life.
