Dear beautiful single Sister

I know that life is sometimes really hard for you. You feel forgotten and passed by. You feel misunderstood and disrespected. You are not valued nor appreciated as you ought to be. Sad, bad and mad things happen to you. You know betrayal, rejection and abandonment. You know what it is like to be used. It is all so terribly unfair! You feel like crying and shouting, and giving up all at the same time. You feel crushed by it all and believe those internal lies that you are worthless – just rubbish. You feel as if life isn’t worth living anymore.

You are deeply loved in Christ

You need to know that in Christ you are more loved than you could ever dare imagine. You are more forgiven than you could have ever believed possible. The past is in the bottom of the ocean and it is left there. Each day is a new beginning and there are wonderful new mercies. Your heavenly Father is watching over you day and night; he delights in you. You are his child, his daughter, and he is ordering all things together for your good and for your joy. In Christ you are so deeply loved just for who you are and as you are – you are completely accepted. You need to believe it because God promises it is so and because of what Christ did to prove it to you. Look at yourself with the love of God and see just how utterly beautiful you are. All the superficial things that the world looks at and ‘Photoshops’ are just that – superficial. God has made you amazingly in his image. Believe it!
