JC2000, the Millennium arts festival for schools, will culminate in a spectacular multimedia show at the Royal Albert Hall in London on June 23, and churches are being encouraged to give it their support.
More than 18,000 schools have taken part in JC2000, which uses the arts to apply the words and actions of Jesus to the issues facing their families and communities today.
There have been hundreds of local festivals all over the UK, and regional and national festivals at prestigious venues during March and April. The Royal Albert Hall Festival will present talented young people from throughout the UK in an exciting and vibrant performance of music, dance and drama as well as a display of exceptional art work. Some of the art will be on view at St. Paul's Cathedral from June 22 to July 2.
