Our team

Senior Editor: David Baker

David has the unenviable task of deciding what makes it into the paper and what doesn’t. He also writes occasional news, reviews and features. All this while being Rector of East Dean Church.

Operations Manager: Rob Clarke

Rob assists David with laying out the content of the newspaper and works to keep the production schedule rolling and the company running.

News: Nicola Laver

Nicola sifts through all the press releases and news that comes into the office. With an emphasis on UK news, she investigates stories and helps produce the final news for the paper.

News: Rebecca Chapman

Rebecca conducts interviews and writes articles for en, often about cultural issues. She has a theology degree, as well as diplomas in management and Christian counselling.

Reviews Editor: John Woods

John edits the Evangelicals Now Reviews section. He is also the Training Director for the School of Preachers.

Assistant Editor (digital, media and marketing): Milla Ling-Davies

As well as writing articles, Milla helps to look after the website and works to promote en in a variety of ways.

Editorial Assistant: Luke Randall

Luke looks after Evangelical Now's social media, investigates stories and writes articles for the newspaper with an emphasis on world news. He also edits content on en's website.

Proofreading: Betty and Philip Miles

Each month, Philip and Betty proofread articles that go into the newspaper.

Sales and Distribution: Malcolm Havell
Malcolm ensures that our subscribers get their copy of the paper every month be that directly by post, through their church agent or local Christian bookshop. He also looks after advertising in the paper.

Consultative Editors: Ellelein Kirk and Professor David Watts
Each month, Ellelein and David are consulted about the latest issue of the newspaper, and offer feedback and guidance.

Governance

The team are responsible to a board of directors chaired by Joel Morris, Executive Director of Union School of Theology, and are accountable to around 50 ‘members’ who support the board in overseeing en.
